From a very young age, I have always felt a connection to the Spirit world. I first became aware of my psychic abilities at age 6 growing up in Pennsylvania. When I was in first grade, my school had a May Day festival with games, races, arts and crafts, and tug of war. One game involved guessing the number of candies in a huge jar. Whoever guessed closest to the number of candies it contained, would win the whole jar.
I briefly examined the jar and confidently told the sixth-grade girl running the contest that it contained 425 pieces of candy. She seemed surprised, and told me that if I were the winner, she would deliver the prize to me at lunch. When she appeared with the jar at my lunch table, I was not surprised, but was naturally delighted. She told me that I had guessed the exact number of candies in the jar. I never forgot what turned out to be my first psychic experience.
When I was about 10, I encountered the word “psychic” and knew intuitively that it described me, even though I wasn’t sure what it meant. I quickly set out to the library to find books on the subject, desperate to discover the deeper meaning behind who I sensed I was. Indeed, those books confirmed that I had deep psychic ability which I knew would somehow serve me well in life. As time passed, I further developed my intuition and my ability to “know” or predict things.
At age 20, a friend and I conversed telepathically for several minutes while driving in his car. It was as if we were speaking aloud, and we could both hear and understand exactly what each other were saying. Eventually, we started laughing and talked about how interesting that experience was.
Once, while shopping in a supermarket, I heard a voice speak to me clear as a bell, even though no one was around. This voice advised me to not go down Aisle 2. Unfortunately, I chose to ignore this advice, and ended up being verbally accosted by an angry stranger. From that moment on, I made a commitment to myself to never ignore that voice again.
Eventually, I developed my abilities in all areas: I would know, see, hear, or sense things that others could not. I began to have precise psychic visions and intuitions. I remember calling my sister in Virginia from Arizona and telling her that she was pregnant, even though only she and her husband knew about it. She confirmed that she was about 2 months pregnant.
Several years ago, I had my first cognizant experience with mediumship when I attended a Lisa Williams show. I had discovered Lisa from her TV show “My Life Among the Dead” during which she would give readings to clients connecting them with their loved ones who had passed away.
In the middle of a very intense reading that Lisa was giving to a woman who had lost a young child, I heard some people whispering and chatting, which seemed incredibly rude. My friend and I were seated front and center, and I tried to ascertain where these people were sitting in the rather large theatre. I was going to complain to my friend about it, but didn’t want to make a scene. They carried on for several minutes and finally stopped.
After the show, I asked my friend, “Can you believe those rude people who were talking so much during that woman's reading?” to which he replied, “No, I didn’t hear anything at all.” It was at that moment when I realized, “Oh, I hear dead people.”
From then on, I knew I would need to explore Mediumship as part of my spiritual practice. I took a 4-day intensive Lisa Williams workshop called “Connecting With Spirit” which changed my life.
Rather naively, I initially thought that the workshop would merely delve into what it’s like to give readings, provide some insight about psychics and mediums, and that I hopefully would get a reading from Lisa. During the class, I ended up giving some incredible readings with very specific, accurate evidence, and I was astonished by my own capacity for Mediumship.
A year later, I embarked on a 3-month intensive course in Advanced Psychic Mediumship and attained my Certification through LWISSD (Lisa Williams International School of Spiritual Development). Since then, I have continued to give both Psychic and Mediumship readings and I feel blessed that I am able to help other people with my abilities.
In my leisure time, I love swimming, yoga, tennis, theatre, travel, cooking, and going to restaurants. I’m an avid photographer and reader, and I also love animals, exploring nature, and singing.
